Transfers: Ihsan Sacko loaned to Cosenza (Italy)

Latest News

This Saturday, OGC Nice officially announced the loan of Ihsan Sacko. The forward is loaned to the club Cosenza.

A connection seems to be forming between Nice and Italy. Following the transfer of Adrien Tameze to Hellas Verona, it is now Ihsan Sacko’s turn. The 23-year-old Nice striker is loaned to Cosenza Calcio, an Italian Serie B (Second Division) team that finished in 15th place in the standings during the 2019/2020 season.

Sacko is therefore set to experience an entirely different European championship, after being loaned to ESTAC Troyes in Ligue 2 last year. Having joined the Côte d’Azur club during the winter transfer window 2 years ago, the Alfortville native trained at Valenciennes played a total of 26 matches with Les Aiglons and scored only 1 goal (in the Coupe de France).

Without a purchase option, Ihsan Sacko will return to Nice at the end of the season, where he remains under contract until 2022.

Arrived in the winter of 2018, Ihsan Sacko (23 years old) heads towards Cosenza, in Italian Serie B, where he will be on loan (without a purchase option).
