On Saturday, May 25th, the Maison de l’Artisanat et du Goût de Nice invites you to participate in the Transhumance Festival. This festive event highlights the authentic expertise of our territory and the quality of our local products, while celebrating an ancient pastoral tradition.
The Transhumance Festival, a pastoral tradition, will take place this Saturday, May 25th, in two locations in Nice, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.. Numerous activities will be offered for both young and old.
In front of the Maison de l’Artisanat et du Goût de Nice
- Musical entertainment: Enjoy a traditional musical ambiance for a complete immersion in pastoral culture.
- Tastings: Savor a variety of local products, both sweet and savory, offered by our artisans and producers.
On the Promenade du Paillon
- Farm animals presence: Come meet sheep, lambs, donkeys, and other farm animals. A unique opportunity for children to discover these animals up close.
- Meeting with our producers: Interact with local producers and discover their products and expertise.
- Herding dog demonstration: Attend fascinating demonstrations at 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., where herding dogs will showcase their skills.
- Educational workshop on the world of bees: Sign up to learn more about bees and their crucial role in our ecosystem.
