On Tuesday, July 28th, in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, magic took center stage with a unique show featuring exceptional magicians. In the magnificent setting offered by the theater by the sea, the performances followed one another under the delighted gaze of an audience filled with both young and old.
For this evening dedicated to magic, the great Norbert Ferré was the master of ceremonies. Best known for being the only magician to have been named world champion of magic twice in a row, he is also an exceptional artist, the most talented and imaginative of his generation. For this special show, he introduced the artists throughout the evening, always with a touch of humor, sometimes quirky, that never fails to make the audience laugh. The aim is to showcase all aspects of magic, thanks to the artists and their very different acts.
The first artist to amaze the audience was Tim Silver, known for his appearances on the TV show “The World’s Greatest Cabaret,” who surprised everyone with a succession of unprecedented grand illusions. Making a person disappear, making an object fly, passing through matter, all these illusions captivated the entire theater. Then, the artists took turns presenting increasingly surprising acts. Mac Roney, who combines magic and humor with a routine that has toured the world, and the highly anticipated Nans Marco, the youngest ventriloquist, awarded at the Monte-Carlo New Generation Festival, concluded the evening with humor that had the entire audience doubled over with laughter. A beautiful tribute to magic, in a unique setting, that provided a great moment of illusion for all who were present that night.
