“The Flames of Hope” postponed due to inclement weather will take place today from 2 PM to 5 PM at the War Memorial under the auspices of the Souvenir Franรงais and the City of Nice.
Due to bad weather, the tribute to the Soldiers Who Died for France between 1914-1918, “The Flames of Hope,” initially scheduled for November 10, has been postponed to this Tuesday, November 25. These “Flames of Hope” will shine at the War Memorial.
The people of Nice are invited, between 2 PM and 5 PM, to place a candle at the base of the War Memorial, symbolizing remembrance and eternal gratitude toward the 10 million who died in the conflict.
This event organized by the Souvenir Franรงais in conjunction with the City of Nice also involves schoolchildren.
