In 1995, the Nice Côte d’Azur Chamber of Commerce and Industry took over the management of the Institut de Formation Automobile (IFA). With more than 700 apprentices and 1200 client companies, the IFA is today the leading center for vocational training in the automotive industry in the Alpes-Maritimes. A genuine partnership policy has been developed for financing the development of work-study programs and supporting companies in the sector.
The National Automobile Training Association, the Association Auto Moto Formation 06, and the CCI Nice Côte d’Azur have therefore decided to renew their partnership to further promote and enhance the apprenticeship pathway.
Key to youth employment and an asset for businesses, Apprenticeship is a modern and suitable response for the training and qualification of young people. The CCI Nice Côte d’Azur manages three training centers: the IFA, the Institut de Formation Pharmacie Santé Côte d’Azur (IFPS) since January 1, 2010, and the Institut de Formation Aéronautique which offers continuous training in areas such as security safety and air transport. The CCI Nice Côte d’Azur provides proximity and expertise through the skills of Point A: more than 1100 companies have opted for Point A’s personalized support services to benefit from a simplified procedure when preparing apprenticeship contracts, as well as legal assistance.
