On the occasion of the General Assembly of the Olympic and Sports Committee of Alpes-Maritimes, President Philippe Manassero paid tribute to the five high-level coaches.
Five key figures in the management of their respective clubs and sports. Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Swimming, and Field Hockey were highlighted during this general assembly, in the presence of Nice’s Deputy for Sports, Gilles Veissière, and the new President of the French Volleyball Federation, Eric Tanguy.
The coaches honored:
Claude Puel, coach of OGC Nice
Laurent Tillie, coach of the French men’s national volleyball team
Julien Espinosa, coach of the Sharks of Antibes in Pro A basketball
Sophie Liobet, coach of the women’s field hockey team of Antibes and Villeneuve-Loubet
Fabrice Pellerin, coach of the French women’s national swimming team.
The official also awarded Bronze Medals for Youth, Sports, and Community Commitment to:
Alexandra Arpaïa (judo)
Jean Christophe Corradi (sports physician)
Yolande Lanzas, member of the CDOS, international field and indoor hockey referee
