From April 24 to 27, the International Aeronautical Federation organized the World Championship of Artistic and Dynamic Disciplines in Wind Tunnels in Charleroi, Belgium. Sofya Pauzin and Adrien Gallot, two skydivers from Nice, excelled in the event.
The competition brought together more than a hundred participants from around the world. Among them were eight French participants spread across six disciplines. Two members from the Cercle Parachutiste de Nice managed to stand out.
In Solo Speed Junior, Sofya Pauzin climbed to the top of the podium. With a time of 21.724 seconds, she set a new French record and earned the title of World Champion. She outpaced the representative from Singapore and the Belgian competitor.
In Solo Speed Open, Adrien Gallot secured the third place. He stood on the podium behind Spain and the United States. This result confirms his consistency and level of performance. In the same category, Matéo Limnaios finished in fifth place.

The Cercle Parachutiste de Nice Shone
Other notable results: Flavien Poulenard finished fourth in Freestyle Open. Jérémy Andriamanantena came in fourteenth. In Freestyle Junior, Malya Jalaguier secured the fourth position. She ranked ahead of China, a fierce competitor in this discipline.
In 2-Way Dynamic Open, Sofya Pauzin and Adrien Gallot finished fourth. They set a new French record during the small final. Among the juniors, the Caulier brothers, Simon and Louis, took fifth place in the same event.
Yves-Marie Guillaud, President of the French Skydiving Federation, and Jean-Michel Poulet, National Technical Director, praised all the athletes: “With their commitment, performances, and the values they embody, they do honor to our sport and our community.”
The World Championship in Charleroi confirmed the level of French skydivers in these demanding disciplines. The participants from Nice played an active role, blending speed, precision, and artistic sense.
