Unity is strength: public and economic stakeholders support the development of the Carros-Le Broc industrial zone.

Latest News

Yesterday, the Metropole and the Union of Clubs (which brings together the industries of the Plaine du Var) signed an agreement to amplify the development of the Carros-Le Broc industrial estate in the presence of all public and economic stakeholders in the region.

The Carros-Le Broc estate is the largest industrial zone in the Alpes-Maritimes. Comprising 600 companies, it represents more than 9,400 jobs and generates an annual turnover of over one billion euros per year. Major historical companies are established there (Virbac, Malongo, Arkopharma…) and cutting-edge innovative sectors (electronics, electricity, metallurgy, home automation…) are developing there.

This agreement includes six concrete measures aimed at strengthening the development of this industrial zone, improving its connectivity in terms of public transport, enhancing its ecological and energy value, and supporting business leaders in their recruitment processes.

In particular:

1️⃣ A partnership for industrial ecology
2️⃣ Support for mobility, prioritizing sustainable mobility
3️⃣ A training tool serving the region
4️⃣ Advancing the PPRI file
5️⃣ Support in seeking European funding
6️⃣ A single point of contact for companies in Carros and, more generally, for industrial companies across the metropolitan area: the one-stop shop represented by Prefect Jean-Michel Drevet, former DGS of Nice and the Metropole.

It also mentions the project to revise the Flood Risk Prevention Plan.
