“URBAN CITY,” a collective photography exhibition by the association PHOTON

Latest News

Gathered for this exhibition, 22 of the 30 photographers from the Photon association offer their views on the urban world, as varied as their respective works can be. At C.A.L. St Pancrace until 01/15/2012.

For this presentation at the CAL St Pancrace walls, titled “Urban City”, more than fifty photographs are presented for the visitor’s appreciation.

Fascinating cities. Bustling. Excessive. Dizzying edges of skyscrapers. Sharp right angles of the windows where the city contemplates its madness. Blinking neon lights in blue nights where nocturnal solitudes intersect.

Cities of small neighborhoods. Warm shops that take the time to disturb the indifference of straight-lined anonymous streets. Cities with walls adorned with graffiti, monuments that tell the story of the city, where even the signage creates its own language and landscape.

All these facets, and many more, are revealed to you by the photographers of the Photon Collective in a grand exhibition: Urban City. They have walked, at human height, in oversized cities or provincial towns, distant or neighboring. They have captured the beauties of the city. They will share them with you. Follow their steps. Be the pedestrians of urban wonder!

The participating photographers are:

Jean Louis MARTINETTI, Jean Michel BOCKLER, Christian NICOT, Henri LIMOUSIN, Bernard OLLIVIER, Jacqueline MIOT, Rémi TOURNIER, Stéphane CAPUZZO, Magali MOSCARDO, Nicole MONARD-MONNOT, René LOUIS, Viviane MARCHIONI, Jean Claude FAYET, Michel GERARD, Nathalie BEATINI, Frédéric de FAVERNEY, Mathieu MUOLLO, Elisabeth NICOT, Michelle MUSARD, Michèle BRIGNONE, Marie Pierre ROBERT, and Serge NERINI.
