The Nice City Environment House and the French Hiking Federation of the Alpes-Maritimes are organizing an urban walking hike this Saturday, September 22nd.
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced hiker, a nature lover or simply curious, set out to discover the heritage and landscapes of Nice. Two rules to follow: friendliness and cordiality.
The route
Start: 8:00 AM – Place Garibaldi (in front of the Maison des Associations)
Arrival: 12:00 PM at the Exhibition Palace (at the 16th Meeting of Associations Fair)
Distance: 11 km
Elevation gain: 220 m
Difficulty: none (children aged 12 and above accompanied are accepted)
Main places crossed: coastal path, Nice port, Fort of Mont Alban
Required equipment: suitable shoes, water, sun or rain protection if needed
