Urban Pixel is a cultural exhibition that will take place in Garibaldi Square on March 30th. The event combines music, sports, short films, street art, and more. Sound, visuals… something to delight urban art enthusiasts.

imgpress.jpgThe exhibition was born out of a project by two communication students, Anne-Lise Blossier and Laetitia Guenzi. Over six months of preparation, Urban Pixel has grown, found many partners, and aims to become an annual event.

The main goal is to make culture attractive. Thus, the public will be able to participate in numerous creative or sports workshops to break the barrier between artists and spectators. It will be possible to join a gathering of riders (BMX) in the company of professionals. For this purpose, the Freeride Foundation association and its president Thomas Debatisse have been called upon. Because sport can also be an art, especially those where you create your own tricks like BMX or Skateboarding. ” We want to create an exchange, a connection with the public,” explains Anne-Lise.

There will be sports and also music with bands of distinctive style but undeniable talent. For example, the group Benjamin Fincher, which ingeniously mixes rock, folk, and electro.

This is a unique event in Nice. In six months, Urban Pixelโ€™s partners have continued to multiply, thereby promoting the plurality of artists. Young people will be in the spotlight, especially students who will have the opportunity to exhibit their works in the open air. An opportunity not always offered to them during their studies.

The exhibition will be held outdoors in Garibaldi Square as well as inside the museaav for cultural exhibits. Admission will be free and open from 2 PM to 9 PM, provided you come with an open mind.
