Vacci’Nice wants to promote vaccination

Latest News

For a morning, the Terra Amata nursery was transformed into a vaccination center where, on the mats, the little ones dressed in white coats vaccinated their stuffed animals and dolls. The Vacci’Nice operation was launched!

The city of Nice and its Department of Health and Autonomy have conceived, over a 3-year period, an operation named Vacci’Nice, in collaboration with CPAM, RSI, and MSA, to measure its impact. This initiative aims to provide comprehensive information about vaccination through prevention and information actions (businesses, schools, clubs, mutual funds, etc.), as well as to offer free vaccinations while joining the municipal vaccination register (mandatory in every municipality) to stay updated on vaccination news and receive reminders by mail or email.

This wonderful operation has already resulted in a Municipal Vaccination Booklet, a first for the city of Nice, which will be distributed on Saturday during the official launch and subsequently by pharmacists, private doctors, and the many partners involved in the operation.

The operation owes its implementation not only to the work of the Department of Health and Autonomy but also to the collaboration of its 23 partners, including major entities like CPAM, Mutualité Française, the Pharmacists’ Union, URPS General Practitioners, URPS Nurses, URPS Pharmacists, the Departmental Medical Association 06, the CHU, Lenval Hospital, ARS, the Academy of Nice, CODES, the Metropolis, and the City of Nice, Sud Coordinators EHPAD, MSA, RSI, AMETRA06, CRES PACA, the Perinatal Network, CCAS, MGEN, and IRIPS.

A great team and a major project that should, without a doubt, improve the vaccination figures which, while still acceptable among the youngest, are more concerning among adolescents, adults, and seniors.

The launch day is scheduled for this Saturday from 2 PM to 6 PM at the Maison des Associations Garibaldi, featuring lectures by top local specialists from CHU and Lenval, information and prevention stands, as well as the opportunity to get vaccinated on-site for free.

As the slogan says so well: “I get vaccinated, I protect us!”
