Valberg: Charles-Ange Ginesy’s Wishes for Complete Success

Latest News

The deputy mayor of Péone-Valberg presented his best wishes during a ceremony traditionally held at the Mounier space, with the president of the departmental council, Eric Ciotti, by his side.

It was an opportunity for the elected official to reflect on the past five years.

A successful shift led by the departmental council, “the first French department to bring high-speed fiber internet to rural areas,” generating 550 million euros in the area through the climate energy plan (creation of photovoltaic farms, control of public lighting, etc.), supporting law enforcement and firefighters, “defending the Puget-Théniers hospital even though it is not directly under its jurisdiction.”

On a more local level, Charles Ange Ginésy discussed the future of Valberg, currently celebrating its 80th anniversary, with a redevelopment of the resort’s heart: transforming the tourist office into a central station house combining public services, finalizing the village center with planned parking, transforming Valberg into a smart resort, and the Valbergana house becoming the house of the environment.
