On Monday, April 7th, the Vélobleu system exceeded the record number of 4,000,000 rentals since its launch.
In service since July 18, 2009, the system continues to enjoy great success. Nearly 6,000 rentals are made daily, a level of popularity never before reached at this time of the year. Now, nearly 10,000 people have subscribed annually to this eco-friendly mobility offer.
More than just a service, Vélobleu has become an integral part of the daily life of residents of the Côte d’Azur and visitors, covering the area within the Metropolis with an installation in Nice, Saint-Laurent-du-Var, and Cagnes-sur-Mer.
The network includes 175 stations equipped with 1,750 bicycles and 3,100 docking stations available to the public.
