Vence: Ascent of the Col de Vence

On May 1st, ASSPTT Nice and Vence Running will organize the 9th ascent of Col de Vence.
This year, like in 2010, the event is part of the 2011 FFA National Mountain Challenge and the 2011 Spiridon Challenge. It is also part of the ASPTT Running Tour.
The start will take place at 9:00 AM at Place du Grand Jardin in Vence, with a finish at Col de Vence, a distance of 11.8 km and a positive elevation gain of 620m. Along the route, sponging and refreshment stations are planned.
This race takes place in a magnificent setting, with part of the proceeds donated to people who are sick or disabled.
