The opening of the exhibition at the Lampronti Gallery London is hosted at the Art contact gallery until January 26th, with the theme entitled “The magical light of Venice: The wonders of 19th-century vedutisti.”
Venice of the era
There are thirty-six paintings exhibited at Art contact coming from London in collaboration with Wannenes.
Their canvases are carefully selected with Venetian urban landscapes combining romanticism, a light quality never before represented with as much sensitivity and artistic talent as during the marvelous years of the 18th century.
Among these exhibitions are the masters of vedutism: Canaletto, Marieschi, Bellotto and Guardi – who are present through key works to symbolize the essence and pure beauty of Venice.
Visitors will be keen to discover such views of Venice through excursions to the National Gallery or by discovering the royal collection of Windsor Castle and, of course, will be enchanted by the visit of the city itself.
This allows visitors to appreciate “the evocative and resplendent beauties of Venice,” highlighted the organizer, the antique dealer Cesare Lampronti.
This exhibition is supported by the Monaco Tourism and Congress Department, the patronage of the Italian Embassy in Monaco, and the honorary consulate of the Principality of Monaco in Venice.
The opening of Art contact
The opening at Art contact brought together several collectors, journalists, and experts to appreciate the works of “vedutism” with its soothing and welcoming atmospheres like an Italian-style family reunion.

Visitors were warmly welcomed by Cesare Lampronti, Barbara Lampronti, Paolo Rosa (Art contact), SEM Jacques Boisson, Anne-Marie Boisbouvier, Danier Boeri, SEM Cristiano Gallo as well as the entire Art contact team.
“The purpose of this exhibition is to promote art, and these centuries are contemporary arts. The sale of these works planned for July is a way to learn about art culture and sales” said Paolo Rosa, manager of Art contact.
Their paintings are guaranteed and sure as they are selected by collectors who will then be auctioned in July.
“It is a great opportunity to learn about the Italian era as the idea is to set a different style. Visitors will be able to come back and enjoy every detail of these works when there are fewer people” highlighted Laura Barbiero, one of the visitors at the opening.
By looking at these works, there is an impression of being inside the paintings, with the sensation of living in that era with its vivid colors, well-defined details, and participating in the event of each piece which is frozen in time.
