Launched by the Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur, the call for projects dedicated to the video game sector awarded three winners on Monday, November 20, at the Hub of Innovation premises.
As part of the development of Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI), the Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur proposed a generous call for projects. Indeed, whether local or not, the selected projects will receive support ranging from 30,000 to 60,000 euros. They will then need to finalize and deploy their project within 24 months of selection.
On this Monday, November 20, during the World Video Game Day, three winners were awarded by Magali Altounian, deputy mayor. The selected projects are: La méduse violette, Phoenix Block 3, and Extee. Supported by the Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur, these three unique projects are already embarking on the great adventure of realization!
ISART: a pioneering school of digital art
Specialized in digital art, the ISART school first opened its doors in Paris in 2001. In September 2023, it marks a new milestone by establishing itself in the Côte d’Azur capital. The school claims a pioneering spirit in the field and aims to become a true reference for all gamers. It also has a campus in Montreal and a partnership in Japan. The Nice campus is currently organized around two divisions, divided into two classes of about thirty students each: creation and management.
Combining the practice of digital art with business, it prides itself on training genuine gaming businessmen. At the cutting edge of technology, the school is attracting more and more students. Whether they come from Paris or elsewhere, the Nice campus seems to radiate a certain attractiveness. This private school will open new premises in 2026 in the Méridia district. In partnership with the University Côte d’Azur, the future campus will feature an Olympic pool and other characteristics of the academic world.
