The Half-Ekiden Race: Kézako?

A concept straight from Japan, it’s a relay race with teams composed of 6 people. The team must complete a marathon of exactly 42.195 km.

Tonight, for the first edition in Villeneuve-Loubet, participants will have to complete a half-marathon divided into 3 stages with 3 runners. Each participant must run a portion of the relay of 5, 10, and 6.1 km for a total of 21.1 km.

The race is designed to be accessible to as many people as possible, the only requirement is to be born in 2006 or earlier!

The race will start as night falls. A race that promises to be enriching and captivating since it takes place along the city’s seaside.

At the end of the race, each participant will receive a collector’s t-shirt and a blue coats beer, all accompanied by musical entertainment.
