On Thursday, February 23, 2012, at 2:30 PM, Mr. Eric Ciotti, President of the General Council of Alpes-Maritimes, will inaugurate the relocation and expansion of the care center “La Marcelline,” a facility for adults with disabilities managed by the Association for the Rehabilitation and Development of People with Disabilities (APREH), in the presence of Mr. Jean-Michel Bec, director of APREH, and Ms. Marielle Vanini, director of “La Marcelline.”
The “La Marcelline” care center has been relocated and expanded by 5 new places.
This 1,000 square meter space is now situated on a single site. It is spread over two levels and provides residential care for 20 individuals with intellectual disabilities who do not have severe behavioral or personality disorders.
It also includes a day activity section that can accommodate 10 non-residents.
To fund this project, the General Council of Alpes-Maritimes has granted a loan guarantee covering 50% of the amount needed by APREH, which amounts to 1.5 million euros.
