French gastronomy and the art of dining are renowned worldwide for their quality and diversity. Far more than a passing trend, gastronomy is part of Villeneuve’s heritage. A testament to this is the 23rd Fรชtes Gourmandes on the lands of Auguste Escoffier*, which have stood as a historical institution for over two decades.


The birthplace “of the chef for kings and king of chefs” Auguste Escoffier, Villeneuve-Loubet offers a gourmet, gourmand, and gastronomic program by bringing together the best Michelin-starred chefs from our region.

For twenty-three years, the Fรชtes Gourmandes have brought together several thousand visitors each summer to promote gastronomy, local products, and beyond, a certain art of living purely Villeneuvois. For twenty-three years, the greatest starred chefs have willingly come to share their secrets, in exchange for a hospitality they know to be sincere. Finally, for twenty-three years, the memory of Master Auguste Escoffier, a native of the village, has been further honored.

In the heart of the village, a true Italian village will be recreated to honor our friends from Forlimpopoli, the twin city and birthplace of Pellegrino Artusi.

The gourmet market will offer typical products from our Provenรงal land as well as high-end gastronomy products: wine, champagne, honey, nougat, fine spices, olive oil, cold cuts, cheeses, sweets, and other surprises will delight the taste buds of both young and old. A craft area will be dedicated to culinary arts.
