Gabriel ATTAL, Secretary of State to the Minister of National Education and Youth, will be in the Nice region this Friday for the launch of the recruitment of young volunteers for the Universal National Service (SNU).
For the first time, young people from the Alpes-Maritimes aged 15 to 17 will be able to volunteer to participate in their SNU, and the department will welcome in June next year committed young people coming from other territories.
In June 2020, nearly 30,000 young volunteers will participate in the Universal National Service across all departments of mainland France and overseas.
The minister will also take the opportunity of this visit to meet with the Nice Ariane Development club, Pôle Emploi, and the Vallée des Paillons business network on the theme of inclusion through employment and social responsibility.
