This Tuesday, February 28 at 5 PM at 15, Boulevard de la Madeleine
Eric Ciotti, President of the Alpes-Maritimes Department, will visit the children’s shelter “Villa Victor Robini” and will meet the 14 young people, aged 13 to 18, housed in this shelter, as well as the medico-social teams responsible for their care.
Any minor in danger is cared for by the professionals of the Child Protection Services, regardless of their nationality.
In accordance with the law that mandates it, the Alpes-Maritimes Department takes in all young people entrusted to it by the judicial authority.
Currently, it protects 1,577 children by court decision, of which over 200 are of foreign nationality (the regulations refer to them as “unaccompanied minors”).
