For the first time in the history of French volleyball, two clubs from the Alpes-Maritimes have qualified for the finals of the French Cup.
This Saturday, April 1st, and Sunday, April 2nd, the women of the Racing Club de Cannes and the Eagles of Nice Volley Ball will be in Paris with the same ambition of bringing a trophy back to the Alpes-Maritimes. Facing Béziers, the Cannes team has the opportunity to claim a 21st French Cup title, while the Nice team will play in the first final in their history against the leader of Ligue A, Tours. Although RCC is the most titled club in the competition, both Côte d’Azur teams are considered the underdogs in these matches.
Kickoff scheduled this Saturday at 8:30 PM for RCC, Sunday at 3:30 PM for NVB.
