On June 3, 4 and 5, the men’s Volleyball team will be in Rennes to compete in the final pool of the French Junior Cup.
After qualifying three weeks earlier at home, the young team from Nice traveled to Rennes last weekend to compete in the 6th and final round before the final.
The first match pitted Rennes against Nice Volleyball in a one-sided match that the team from Nice lost 2-0, never managing to develop their game throughout the two sets. (11:25, 22:25).
It took a lot of mental strength after this underperformance to get back into the fight against a good team from Kingersheim, and the team from Nice managed to do it, securing a win after a very high-quality match (25:23, 25:22). Michaรซl Blondeau’s players, now familiar with this field, should therefore develop their game as best as possible to bring victory home.
Eight teams have qualified for the two final pools that will take place in Rennes at the beginning of June.
The team from Nice will play in Group A with Tours (Indre-et-Loire), Asnieres Volley 92 (Hauts-de-Seine), and Arago de Sete (Hรฉrault).
The first match will be on June 3 at 10:30 a.m. against Arago Sรจte.
