For the 21st day of the Ligue B, Nice-Volley hosted Cambrai. A match to bounce back after two consecutive defeats. However, Mladen Kasic’s players were unable to avoid defeat against Cambrai, losing 3 sets to 1 (23-25 / 27-29 / 26-24 / 26-28).
With Cambrai’s visit, Mladen Kasic’s men were hoping to gain confidence after two consecutive defeats, at home against Canteleu (2-3) and especially last Saturday on the court of Plessis-Robinson with a severe 3-0 loss. Before the match, the team from the north had a 4-point lead over their evening opponents.
A victory for Cristian Bartha’s teammates and the Nice team would move closer to the 7th place, occupied by… Cambrai. So no mistakes tonight but, as Sabine Paturel sings so well, the Nice team did not leave Salle Palmeira without these famous “Mistakes”. Sadly, fortune did not favor Nice-Volley.
