What a disappointment! After 31 matches of an interminable season, the players of president Alain Griguer and coach Mladen Kasin “slip” at the final hurdle and are left wanting. A great achievement for Olivier Colat’s team, who were relegated last season.
The Men’s Ligue B final kicked off today at the Halle Carpentier in Paris for this volley-day with all titles at stake, gathering several thousand spectators.
The match was full of twists and turns, and Tourcoing finally prevailed 3-2 after a fierce battle, a success to which Mladen Majdak and Jansen Van Doorn significantly contributed, each scoring 19 points.
