This Thursday, at the Halle Carpentier, three divisions (Men’s League A, Women’s League A, and Men’s League B) will compete to win the ultimate title of 2014 Champion of France. Nice will be one of the protagonists of the first final: Opposed to Tourcoing, the volleyball players from the Cรดte d’Azur will play for their ticket to the title and also for promotion to League A.
Two seasoned teams, long-standing members of the elite of French volleyball, will vie for the single place that will go down in history.
The team from Nice is in top form and will play with a momentum of success. Their confidence is absolute, and so is their determination to climb the final step of a truly exciting season.
Mladen Kasic has managed to forge a team where the “stars” (Mitrovic, player of the year) naturally blend into the mold in service of the team’s effectiveness.
Tourcoing, coming from League A, has rebuilt its team for an immediate comeback and will be a tough opponent. In fact, in the championship, both teams were evenly matched, each securing one victory in the direct matches.
Now, the focus is on the court, and in this case, the important thing is not (just) to participate, but to win.
