After a severe 3-0 defeat against Tours, Mladen Kasic’s players had 3 weeks without official matches (exempt from the 21st day). Despite this challenging schedule, the Nice team has prepared well and is ready to take on the competition!
This Friday, for the clash against Nantes on the 22nd day of the championship, the Nice volleyball players will aim to reclaim the Giamarchi/Palmeira hall.
The Nice team is currently in 6th place (32 points) and will face Nantes, in 7th place (28 points). A victory against Nantes would mathematically ensure their participation in the playoffs.
It is also an opportunity for the Nice team to create a significant gap and catch up to 4th place (Chaumont – 34 points – exempt), which would be a great advantage for the playoffs (the higher-ranked teams host the first leg and the potential tie-breaker match).
