As the unfortunate finalist of the last edition of the BM League Championship, Nice overcame Poitiers (1-3) in a decisive semi-final match, thus securing their spot for a new final, scheduled at the Halle Carpentier on May 9th.
The team from Nice lost the first set (25-22) before winning the next three sets (15-25, 21-25, 14-25), driven by William Bersani Da Costa (19 points) and Soane Falafala (15 points).
In the final, the team from the French Riviera will face Maxéville-Nancy. The winner will be crowned champion of France and will compete next season in the AM League alongside Poitiers, who is guaranteed promotion due to their first-place finish in the regular season.
