The team coached by Mickaël Blondeau traveled this past weekend for the 4th round of the Coupe de France in Saint Jean d’Illac, near Bordeaux.
As with every round of the Coupe de France, the players from Nice faced 2 teams. Only the top two from this group of three could continue their journey in the competition.
For this round, the Nice Volley Ball had to face Montpellier and Saint Jean d’Illac.
Nice Volley Ball defeated Montpellier 2 sets to 1 and Saint Jean d’Illac 2 sets to 0 (25:14 and 25:16). Thus, it’s done, the Nice Volley Ball is the first in the tournament and qualified for the 5th round of the Coupe de France M20.
For the 5th round, the young players from Nice will host Arago de Sète and Saint-Egrève on Sunday, March 12th, starting at 11 a.m. at the Giamarchi hall.
