Volleyball (quarter-final): Nice versus the giant Tours

Latest News

After a disappointing season last year (12th in the standings), Nice has regained its status under the guidance of its new coach, the Brazilian Rafael Radzwill.

Ranked 8th, the last qualifying spot, Nice finds its path, starting tonight, with an apparently insurmountable obstacle, Tours.

With only two defeats in the regular season, TVB has overwhelmingly dominated the regular season and remains the overwhelming favorite for this series and the number one candidate for the championship title.

However, the eight-time champion of France has been somewhat less impressive in recent weeks and has just suffered two setbacks that could weigh heavily before entering the Play-Offs. Defeated in the final of the CEV Cup by Monza, Tours once again lost in the final of the Coupe de France against Chaumont (2-3) last Saturday.

In contrast, Nice is collectively less equipped and conceded during the two championship duels, but it boasts an Argentine opposite hitter, Bruno Lima, who won a bronze medal at the last Olympics and is the third top scorer in LAM this season (18.1 points on average), capable of setting all of France ablaze.

While the prediction is clear, it is the field that will have the final say.
