Voter Reactions in Saint Laurent du Var

Latest News

Voters gathered in numbers late in the morning at polling station number 18 in Saint Laurent du Var. A particular feature of this town is that voting is done with electronic machines. Between modernity and good old paper, opinions are divided. Still in the voting spirit, Nice Premium collected the “hot” impressions of a few Laurentin voters. All responded to questions as they left the school, although most did not wish to express themselves in front of the camera like Jean-François. This voter finds electronic voting simpler and does not think that the turnout is entirely due to the presence of just one machine. Jean-François found the campaign too long – “it exhausted people.” Fortunately, he had made his choice a while ago. This was not the case for Chantal, who hesitated. But she eventually decided on the centrist candidate. However, her vote was not entirely based on the candidate’s program, as she admits to also considering his personality. Louis, on the other hand, chose his candidate based on personality and had thought about his decision thoroughly. Fortunately, since he thinks the electoral program of this year 2007 was “very poorly done.” Numerous opinions and ideas follow, and the results tonight are eagerly awaited.
