Despite the gray and rainy weather on this day of finals, the first edition of the “Deloitte French Riviera Sevens” saw the triumph of Waseda University from Tokyo, which won an exciting final against the Kenyans from Strathmore University of Nairobi. The third place went to Aston University from Birmingham (United Kingdom). INP Toulouse, the top-ranked French team, finished in 4th position.
