Thus, we remind you of some rules:

1- Respect the types of waste for dedicated collections

Do not mix hazardous, sharp, or otherwise dangerous waste with household garbage, as they can cause punctures, cuts, or splashes of dangerous liquid during collection.

In addition to collections, 13 waste collection centers are available throughout the Mรฉtropole territory.

2- Avoid overloading bins and do not leave collection bags on public roads

Waste must be presented in standardized bins that prevent collection teams from having to lift heavy loads. Presenting waste in bags is prohibited because it creates numerous risks during handling.

3- Be cautious when a collection truck passes

The speed of a collection truck is very low and the collection operation requires multiple stops;

Collection team members are on the footboards at the back of the truck, without protection in case of impact;

Collection vehicles are wide, making passage in the city difficult;

Drivers have limited visibility at the back of the collection truck.

4- Park in designated areas in the city

The roadway must be clear to facilitate the passage of the truck and the handling of bins.
