After tennis and marathon, it is karate that is being highlighted in a new “J’me Bouge” operation orchestrated by Christophe Pinna. This operation is reserved for women aged 18 to 55 who have never practiced a martial art beyond the yellow belt. 50 of them will be selected and at the end of the training period, four will be chosen to attend the finals of the World Championships which will be held in Paris at the end of November.
J’ME BOUGE… KARATE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 2012 aims to allow socially and professionally active women to learn karate to develop the following values: self-control, emotional management, self-confidence, anti-stress, understanding of the physical aggression process, feeling stronger physically and mentally, improvement of cardiovascular qualities, muscle tonicity, muscular and joint flexibility, ultimately gaining confidence in their physical and psychological abilities.
To involve the inhabitants of the City of Nice in promoting their community, this sporting challenge is intended for women who, due to lack of time and support, do not always have the opportunity to engage in physical activity under the best conditions.
J’ME BOUGE… KARATE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 2012 offers these women the opportunity to train regularly under the direction of Christophe PINNA, several times French, European, and World champion.
Initially, 50 women will be chosen to participate in the training sessions based on registration forms outlining the deep reasons for their motivation. The participation criteria are as follows: Reside in Nice, be aged 18 to 55, never have practiced a martial art above the yellow belt, commit to attending all training sessions, and commit to being present at the World Championship finals if selected.
Participation is free and implies full acceptance of the provisions of this regulation. Non-compliance with the conditions results in the cancellation of participation.
Registration will be done exclusively via the website of the city of Nice, www.nice.fr from Monday, May 28 until Friday, June 15 at 3:45 PM. Any registration received after the mentioned date and time will be invalid.
The selected candidates will be informed by email and will be required to provide a photo and a medical certificate less than a year old mentioning the absence of contraindications to sports practice at the first training session.
