An operation aimed at priority professionals was organized by the State this weekend at the vaccination center in Nice, in the Alpes-Maritimes. The metropolis provided the State with the premises and human resources for this special day.
The call had been made for so-called priority personnel over 55 years old, meaning teachers and law enforcement officers.
However, the call was not really heeded. The Nice Cรดte d’Azur metropolis therefore decided to close the center at 1 p.m. even though it was supposed to remain open until 5 p.m. The lack of volunteers could be attributed to the fact that the vaccine used for these personnel was the controversial AstraZeneca vaccine.
