The “Printemps BIO” with Agribio Alpes-Maritimes: What is it?
In the first half of June, across France, all those involved in organic farming will mobilize for the national fortnight of information and promotion of products from organic farming.

For fifteen days, organic players will carry out actions to showcase the techniques, practices, principles, and values of this environmentally friendly production method to as many people as possible.

It is a national promotion campaign for organic farming coordinated by the Agency Bio (a public interest group responsible for the development and promotion of organic farming).

The operation “Welcome to the Bios!” is part of a campaign to promote and raise awareness of organic farming.

This event, completely free of charge, is an opportunity for the public to discover the practices of organic farming or deepen their knowledge through various activities offered by our open farms.

At a time when interest in organic farming is growing, this event is one of the strong signals of the dynamism of organic farming.
Thus, this connection between producers and consumers helps to raise awareness among the latter and commit them to responsible consumption.
Moreover, the need for information remains to be met and consumer expectations are significant. Visitors will be able to understand the role that organic producers play in their territory and the importance of maintaining and developing local agriculture.

“Les Bio” will be an opportunity to have a good time in an attractive setting: farmers welcome you on their farms and on the program there will be visits, explanations of organic farming practices, tastings, and the visit of the collective sales point on June 11th at 10:30 am (meet at the Foyer Rural Cépage).

Indeed, it involves visiting farms, meeting producers, and understanding how organic farming represents the future (and this in a friendly atmosphere with tastings, farm visits, and even pony rides…)

Welcoming the already converted public and more; that is to say, receiving a much broader audience to raise awareness about organic agricultural practices

Raising awareness about the importance of consuming locally

Raising awareness about the disappearance of agricultural lands and the importance of maintaining agriculture in the department

Visit the farms of your choice on the upcoming June 11th and 12th.
