Play Azur Festival: The weekend’s pop culture event
Donโt miss the 6th edition of the biggest geek festival on the Cรดte dโAzur! The Exhibition Palace opens its doors on Saturday, May 6 and Sunday, May 7 starting at 10 am. Fans of Harry Potter, K POP, e-sport, Japanese culture, or even Medieval Steampunk, multiple worlds are waiting to be discovered and rediscovered in a space of 14,000m2.
50 renowned guests are expected for meet-and-greet and autograph sessions. The YouTube game will be represented by the two successful creators Sheshounet and Leo Techmaker. Well-known voice actors Dorothรฉe Poussรฉo and Emmanuel Curtil are also expected.
The Rockfest takes over the Thรฉรขtre de Verdure
Embrace the rock’n’roll attitude for a charitable festival. The Rockfest returns for its 9th edition. Concerts are scheduled from Friday, May 5 to Sunday, May 7. 16 bands are set to perform at the Thรฉรขtre de Verdure. Moreover, tickets are still available.
The event’s profits will support HAPPY HAND and MELODYS. The associations work for the benefit of disabled adults and children.
Hans Zimmer is set to electrify the Palais Nikaรฏa
Grab the last tickets for Hans Zimmer’s live concert. The film score composer will perform on May 6 at 8 pm at the Palais Nikaรฏa. He intends to take his audience on a journey through his most famous soundtracks.

LQB Fest, the 100% female musical event not to be missed
From May 5 to 7, the LQB Fest is the place to party. The 109, the contemporary cultures hub of the City of Nice, hosts the three-day festival. Twelve exclusively female artists will perform in a LGBTQ+ and eco-friendly setting. The program promises current and electronic music.

The gardens of Cimiez at the rhythm of traditions for the Fรชte des Mai
Due to unfavorable weather, the traditional Fรชte des Mai is moved to Sunday, May 7. Thus, to celebrate spring, activities are planned throughout the day. You can attend the paillasou tossing, participate in pebble crafting workshops, enjoy traditional sounds, and even discover folk dances. Ultimately, it’s an opportunity to dive into the Niรงoise culture, even tasting it.

Discovering the Opera?
Friday, May 5, at 8 pm, the Nice Cรดte dโAzur Opera hosts a concert on the Last Lights of German Romanticism. Daniele Callegari, the chief conductor of the Nice Philharmonic Orchestra, offers the opportunity to discover or rediscover two key works by Max Bruch and Richard Strauss. Two composers who brought German Romanticism to its peak in the 19th century.
Take a stroll down the Quai des รtats-Unis on Saturday, May 6 at 4 pm, and you’ll witness a strange ballet! On the occasion of “Everyone at the Opera”, the Nice Cรดte dโAzur Opera invites you to an open barre with the dancers of the Nice Mediterranean Ballet. Comedy night at the Francis Gag Theater
The neighborhood theater Francis Gag offers a play entitled The Door Next Door by Fabrice Roger-Lacan. She’s a psychiatrist. He sells yogurts.
