Concert: the Nice Philharmonic Orchestra

The Nice Classic Festival invites spectators to contemplate musical masterpieces. The melodies of Camille Saint-Saëns, a major figure in 19th-century music, will open the show: Introduction & Rondo Capriccioso, Havanaise and Piano Concerto No. 5 “The Egyptian”. Beethoven’s Symphony No. 4 will close the evening. Stéphanie-Marie Degand on violin and Jean-Baptiste Fonlupt on piano will reveal these emblematic repertoires to spectators, under the direction of Marc Coppey.

Reservation is required. Entry is 29 euros and 24 euros for reduced rates. It is free for under 25s.

Festival: the last of Belaprem

This musical and cultural cradle is closing its doors soon. The Open Air Belaprem will invest for the last time this year in this summer cultural venue. On the program, the ZONA DE PERREO collective will offer an XXL show, featuring DJ sets, MCs and international dancers. Styles will follow one another at a frantic pace: salsa, bachata, reggaeton and dembow.

Don a costume and take part in an intriguing investigation, wandering through the different iconic places of the city of Nice. You will need to download a mobile app to participate in this interactive game lasting 90 minutes. The price is 10 euros, by reservation, from 14 years old.

Show: dancers and passion on stage

For all dance and technique enthusiasts, this restitution of the hard work of trainee dancers will immerse you in the world of dance. Under the artistic direction of Charles Jude, Stéphanie Roublot, Monique Loudieres, Igor Yebra and Thomas Klein, the dancers will convey their passion and dedication for this art. The demonstration will travel from classical to contemporary repertoire.

Doors will open 30 minutes before the show begins. Entry is 5 euros for adults and free for under 18s and 18-25 year-olds, subject to proof of age.

Concert: Hit Generation The Revenge

The theater transforms into a musical arena. For the second time, two generations will compete, on one side the red team for the 80s and on the other the blue team for the 90s. This festive event will pit them against their greatest timeless hits. Exciting blind test, wild DJ battle and vertiginous karaoke will distinguish the two decades.

For this interactive and festive event, dress in your team’s colors. Entry is 25 euros per adult, by reservation.

Exhibition: Mortimer and the Paper Japan in Nice

This collection traces the links between the world of Blake and Mortimer and Japan. In this science fiction work, Philip Mortimer finds himself in the heart of an adventure involving spies, robots and scientific innovations. In partnership with the Edgar P. Jacobs Foundation, original comic pages, animation cells, sketches, unpublished archives and Japanese prints are on display. This exhibition offers visitors the opportunity to discover the behind-the-scenes of this creation, nurtured by Edgar P. Jacobs’ passion for Japan. Entry is free.

Visit: discovering the remains of Nice

The Crypt traces the history of the Côte d’Azur city and its fortifications. Located beneath Place Garibaldi and Boulevard Jean Jaurès, this visit plunges spectators back into five centuries of military history. The remains were discovered during archaeological excavations as part of the development of Tram Line 1. Entry ranges from 3 to 8 euros and is paid by credit card only. The ticket office is on site, but it is possible to reserve. Flat shoes are recommended and visits are limited to 15 people.
