Friday, January 24
Hockey. Defeated in Brianรงon on Tuesday, the Eagles of Nice must bounce back tonight at 8 p.m. when they host Anglet. It’s a match within reach for the Azurรฉen hockey players, but they will have to work hard to prevent their main rivals in the Ligue Magnus standings from pulling ahead.
Show. LโApรฉro DรฉsAstres returns for a 23rd evening at LโEntre-Pont at 109 (89 Route de Turin). Titled Objet du cirque, this theater evening is presented by students from the regional circus arts school Piste dโAzur. Short plays will be presented, following interventions by Inbal Yomtovian, an object theater artist. The event starts at 7:30 p.m.
Opera. The Magic Flute is undoubtedly the most popular and universal work in the history of opera. Mozart, at the end of his too-short life, unfolds music that, 250 years after its creation, continues to resonate with both young and old. For his first lyrical staging, the famous filmmaker Cรฉdric Klapisch takes on this timeless tale and, between laughter and gravity, poetry and carefreeness, leads us, like Tamino and Pamina, through the most wonderful of initiatory journeys.
Theater. Tonight the TNN offers the final performance of The Hilton Sisters. Performed by the duo Valรฉrie Lesort and Christian Hecq, this play continues to amaze us with this new creation that combines theater and magic, following the success of Gulliver’s Travels, The Fly, and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea in previous seasons. A dive into the world of sideshow freaks, both flamboyant and desperate, comic and tragic. The show begins at 8 p.m., subject to availability (waiting list places available).
Saturday, January 25
Volleyball. Tonight at 7 p.m., the Gialarchi Palmeira hall will be buzzing with what will be a spectacular lineup in the Marmara Spike League. The Eagles of Nice will face Montpellier, the second in the championship. Although the locals haven’t defeated the Hรฉraultais since 2019, they are coming off a fine victory in Poitiers, proving they are in good form.

This event, which will gather over 10,000 players along the course, will be held at the Palais des Expositions on January 25 and 26.
