1. Détox – Available September 1
This brand-new French series will feature a sparkling duo of actresses: Tiphaine Daviot and Manon Azem, who will portray two cousins addicted to social media. Both being hooked, they will challenge themselves to avoid any type of screen for thirty days. A modern and refreshing comedy tackling themes relevant to our time!
2. Devil in Ohio – Available September 2
This miniseries will be the thriller sensation of the moment. With a heavy atmosphere revolving around an occult sect and a misty forest, the mystery surrounding the plot might give you chills. We find Emily Deschanel and Madeleine Arthur in the leading roles, both impressive in their portrayals.
3. Sous Emprise – Available September 9
This French film directed by David Rosenthal stars a couple of freedivers played by Camille Rowe and Sofiane Zermani. This poignant drama promises a heart-wrenching story and breathtaking underwater scenes.
4. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners – Available September 13
This Japanese animated series is the new production from Trigger studios, with Hiroyuki Imaishi leading the project, the very founder of the studio. Adapted from the eponymous video game, the series promises an impressive visual approach and a very mature narrative. Legendary composer Akira Yamaoka, a well-known figure in the industry, is also on board for the soundtrack.
5. Blonde – Available September 28
Finally, the highly anticipated biopic of Marilyn Monroe, portrayed by Ana de Armas. Andrew Dominik’s film aims to be as faithful as possible to the atmosphere of the era, with significant attention given to the photography, costumes, and sound. It is an adaptation of Joyce Carol Oates’ 2000 novel of the same name, a fictional biography of the famous singer.
