Political populism is an approach that requires speaking in double, triple, and sometimes even quintuple language. It tends to go beyond critical theories because it opts for simplicity even when matters are complex. Instead of civic-mindedness and virtue, it prefers redundancy and the unfortunate. Agreeing with everyone and going with the flow can end up in the burlesque.
It’s easy to understand that trying to garner votes requires some maneuvers, but care must be taken not to fall into ideological confusion.
