I love this place where you leave feeling taller than when you entered, simply because each meal helps support the more vulnerable.
Under the guidance of chef Philippe Bouchet, a regular in fine Michelin-starred establishments, job seekers in reintegration discover their culinary talents. And we enjoy ourselves, because the chef lets nothing slip by! The minimal cost of the meal (starter, main course, dessert = €11!) is made possible thanks to the cooperation of the neighboring U supermarket and the volunteers who provide the service.
I NEED TO TELL YOU…
If I lived closer, I would make it my daily canteen. I like the conviviality, the spirit of the place, the idea of not having to think about what I am going to eat (there is only one menu). I know it will be as good as homemade anyway, and inexpensive! Moreover, the thought of contributing my bit to the reconstruction of the “human edifice” is also rewarding.
I forget that the service can sometimes be a bit slow, but it allows you to talk to your neighbors and remember that what matters is the moment lived and shared. No need to rush, better to start on time, like our rabbit!
The establishment is open from Monday to Friday, only at lunchtime. Reservations are strongly recommended.
