The Lost and Found Service is moving to 42 Rue Dabray starting Monday, January 14, 2013. Under the protection of the Municipal Police, the Lost and Found Service currently located at 1 Rue Raoul Bosio must now be relocated to more suitable premises at 42 Rue Dabray.

Hours: Monday to Thursday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday from 8:30 AM to 3:45 PM.

In 2012, nearly 12,000 objects were registered by the Lost and Found Service. Indeed, according to the municipal decree of May 7, 2009, anyone who finds an object on public roads, public transport, public places, or even common areas of private buildings in Nice must deposit it within 24 hours either at the local Police Station or at the City of Nice’s Lost and Found Service.

Objects valued at or above 50 euros are kept for 6 months, those valued below 50 euros are kept for 1 month, and identified objects or identity papers are kept for 1 year and 1 day.
