Nearly 96% of the 745,900 candidates for the 2020 baccalaureate passed by the end of the first make-up session, which is 7.6 percentage points higher than in 2019, announced the Ministry of National Education.

With no final exams on paper, the baccalaureate grades are primarily derived from the results obtained in the first and second trimesters.

As they say in Spain, “todos caballeros”!


In detail, 98.4% of students in the general track obtained their baccalaureate (compared to 91.2% in 2019). For technological baccalaureates, the number of graduates reached 95.7% (compared to 88.1%). Finally, 90.7% of candidates for professional baccalaureates obtained their diploma (compared to 82.3%).
