Why not take a tour of the CIRconferences on improvisation?

The week from September 11 to 17, 2023, will revolve around the CIRconferences on improvisation, at the 109. This event, open to all, is the result of a collaborative effort between various improvisation stakeholders from Nice and its study.

The focus throughout this week will be on questioning the notion of “improvisation.” The idea is to “Embody differently.” Structured around periods of practice and research, this week will be punctuated by various conferences and performances. Additionally, a series of four workshops is planned. This week is largely supported by the EUR CREATES of the Université Côte d’Azur, as well as the Institut Universitaire de France (IUF).

L’Entre-pont at the 109 will be the venue for this week of improvisation. L’Entre-pont is a space within the contemporary cultural hub dedicated to the creation and residency of performing artists. This space is managed by a collective of four associative structures: Diva-Le Hublot, Cie Le Grain de sable, Cie/TranS/, and le Théâtre de la Massue.
