The football World Cup will take place from June 7 to July 7. On this occasion, Christian Estrosi came to inaugurate the fan zone in Nice.
Located right in the city center, at Albert I Garden, the FIFA Fan Experience has been open to the public since 2 PM. It is divided into two areas. A giant screen will allow free viewing of the matches at the Thรฉรขtre de Verdure starting from June 27.
On the other side, around the bandstand, there are numerous stands and activities. Foosball, giant dart games, a football cage: for the inauguration, the city of Nice also enlisted two freestyle professionals: Yoanna and Joan. A demonstration of talent that inspires admiration for their skill.
For the occasion, Coca-Cola is distributing some cans and playing with visitors’ taste buds by having them guess the flavor. Other sponsors like Orange, Crรฉdit Agricole, EDF, and Qatar Airways allow football fans to enjoy various activities such as face painting workshops or video messages in support of their teams.
The stands will be open on June 7, 9, 12, 16, 17, 19, 22, 23, 27, 28, and 29, and on July 2, 3, 6, and 7, depending on the match schedules. Admission will be free throughout the competition. The activity area will entertain both young and old.
