The city of Nice is organizing a short story contest as part of the Book Festival. The contest aims to allow all seniors aged 55 and over who love to write to showcase their talent in a literary genre.

To prepare seniors wishing to participate in the upcoming 2018 Seniors’ Short Story Contest, Olympia Alberti, the President of the Contest Jury, will lead a writing workshop and share her experience regarding writing a short story, which is a creative exercise for both amateur and experienced writers.

This workshop is also open to seniors who are not participating in the contest.

Olympia Alberti was born in Antibes and lives in Nice. She holds a PhD in comparative literature and is a specialist in Rilke, Colette, Giono, Virginia Woolf, and Marguerite Duras.
