Ode to Stœmp
Ode to Stœmp is an architectural work.
This installation is a mise en abyme of the artist’s reflections on his pictorial research and the conditions of their presentation.
Several works are thus displayed on this wall, which owes its stability to the simplest system there is: it is supported by a corner of the space. Some furniture elements are also integrated into this wall, hence the reference to stœmp, or the art of making do with leftovers. The system is total and thus proves this particular interest in the elements that surround it.
