The “yellow vests” plan to protest for the thirteenth consecutive weekend on Saturday, February 9. Last weekend, 58,600 demonstrators marched across France, according to the Ministry of the Interior. On Tuesday, February 5, the “yellow vests” also mobilized alongside the CGT. The union claims that “nearly 300,000 people” participated in the movement, while the Ministry of the Interior counted 137,200 demonstrators.
Maxime Nicolle, also known as “Fly Rider,” is expected to be in Nice this Saturday. The organizers of the Facebook event “Act XIII – For our freedom! Italian border” are planning “a media-impact action” with the presence of this figure from the movement. They are calling on “all the GJ” from the Paca region to join this protest “in support of [their] injured and the families of [their victims].”
The meeting point is set at the Allianz Riviera stadium at 11 a.m.
